Mass Save Rebate Help in Melrose
Know what your house qualifies for, what must happen first and which forms go where. Before you choose equipment.
Treat the Rebate Like a To-Do List
The Mass Save heat pump rebate is generous. It is also conditional. Skip one item and no check arrives. So we work it like a to-do list. Line one: your electric company, since Mass Save rebates are paid through it. Line two: the path. On the whole-home path, a conversion meeting program terms may collect up to $8,500 this program year, calculated per ton. That path asks for three things: weatherization per the Home Energy Assessment, equipment from the cold-climate list, and a household living there all winter. The partial-home path pays smaller amounts. Any zone it covers needs its previous heat pulled, capped or tied into integrated controls. Line three: the assessment. Homeowners pay nothing for it, and the upgrades it recommends earn sizable incentives too. Line four: listed equipment, sized to your rooms. Line five: paperwork after the install, with sizing and weatherization records attached. The proposal prints the estimate with every condition beside it. No round numbers, no promises the program never made. One list, worked top to bottom, until the file closes. One more point worth stating plainly. We do not guess at your rebate on the phone and then revise it later. The estimate appears once, in the proposal, after the house has been measured and the path chosen. If something changes, such as an assessment finding new insulation work, the file is updated and you see the revised figure before anything moves forward.
